Creating a buyer account is completely free. No registration fees or monthly subscriptions. Torzon charges a small commission on completed transactions to maintain the platform and escrow system.

Common reasons: Using a regular browser — Torzon only works in Tor Browser. Outdated Tor Browser — use the latest version. Network congestion — try a different Tor circuit. Mirror maintenance — try an alternate link from our links page. DDoS protection — you may need to solve a captcha on first visit.

While not strictly required, a VPN is strongly recommended. A no-log VPN hides the fact you're using Tor from your ISP. Connect to the VPN before opening Tor Browser (VPN → Tor). Choose a VPN that accepts cryptocurrency for extra privacy.

Torzon uses 2-of-3 multi-signature escrow. Your payment goes into a secure escrow wallet. At least 2 of 3 parties (buyer, vendor, Torzon) must sign to release funds. The vendor cannot take your money without delivering. If there's a dispute, a neutral moderator resolves it.

Bitcoin: Credited after 2 confirmations, typically 20–40 minutes. Monero: Credited after 10 confirmations, typically 20–30 minutes. Both support instant deposit detection.

PGP serves two purposes on Torzon: 2FA Authentication — prevents unauthorized access even if your password is compromised. Encrypted Communication — encrypt messages to vendors. See our PGP Verification Guide for setup.

Torzon has rigorous vendor verification: all vendors complete PGP verification, transparent 5-star ratings with verified reviews, complete transaction history on profiles, and multi-sig escrow on every purchase. Always check ratings and reviews before purchasing.

Navigate to Torzon through an official .onion link and click "Register." Choose a unique username, create a strong password (16+ characters), and save your recovery phrase. We recommend setting up PGP 2FA immediately. Full instructions in our Access Guide.

If you saved your recovery phrase, use it on the login page to reset. With PGP 2FA, you can recover using your PGP private key. If you've lost both, contact [email protected] — verification may be possible in some cases.
